The purpose of worship at Colony is to create a body of believers that worship as a lifestyle, understanding and living out their worship in spirit and in truth."Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise." Psalm 100:4a

Worship is actually more than just music. It is living our life where all of our being mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually is honoring to God, our Creator and Father. It is being a living sacrifice where God can move through us to affect the world around us.

Without a doubt, music is certainly a big part of worship in the life of a church. It should come from a heart overflowing with gratefulness toward the heavenly Father. At Colony Baptist Church we desire to have meaningful encounters with a living God during our worship times together. For worship is not so much about how, but more about whom. We encourage personal, daily worship in the life of every follower of Christ.

The music at Colony is a fresh blending of both new and old in a contemporary setting. We celebrate Jesus with joy because He has risen. We quietly reflect on the Father and His love. Through song we strengthen our faith and mutually encourage one another. We invite the presence of God for He is our audience. We desire to worship God in spirit and truth. We seek God while He is seeking us.
